The conference Function spaces XIII. It will take place in Poznań at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of Adam Mickiewicz University from July 8th till July 12th 2024. It continues the tradition of twelve preceding meetings. The aim of the series is to concentrate on new developments and results in the theory of function spaces and its applications. During the conference we want to commemorate the life and work of two originators of this conference series Julian Musielak and Henryk Hudzik who passed away in 2020 and 2019 respectively.

1. Lectures

The program of the conference consists of invited main lectures (speakers mentioned above), and a limited number of shorter communications given by the participants. Please indicate your intention to give a talk and do not forget to send us your (tentative) abstract in the registration form. The schedule of the lectures will be announced later.

2. Costs

The regular conference fee is 330 EUR (1430 PLN for Polish participants). When paid before 2024-05-15 the fee was reduced to 300 EUR (1300 PLN for Polish participants). Moreover, limited number of reduced conference fees 150 EUR (650 PLN for Polish participants) will be offered for PhD students or young researchers, who will ask The Organizing Committee about that. A final decision about payment of this reduced conference fee will be made by the Organizing Committee. For the accompanying persons, the fee is 150 EUR (650 PLN for Polish participants). The fee covers lunches, coffee breaks, printing of the abstracts and proceedings and social events.

Due to organizational reasons we kindly ask you to make payment before 2024-06-15.

4. Accommodation

In Poznań, there is a quite large number of hotels of all categories, but please notice that July is a peak tourist season. Therefore, we recommend that you book your hotel room as soon as possible, for the best price and availability.

Although participants are expected to make their own arrangements for accommodation, the organizers made some agreement with the Hotel Mercure Poznań Center (https://all.accor.com/hotel/3393/index.pl.shtml) . Please indicate that you are participants of the Function Spaces XIII conference organized by Adam Mickiewicz University to take advantage of the discount. Please use the password “FS13-UAM” when booking. The price is 310 Polish zloty per night.

If you prefer to use Student Hostel Zbyszko i Jagienka (https://amu.edu.pl/en/education/amudormitories/zbyszko-and-jagienka) please contact us not later than June 15. The price is 70 Polish zloty per night, but it does not include breakfast that should be arranged by yourself.

5. Travel information

Poznań has an airport and direct fast train connections to Berlin, Warsaw and other big cities. The main railway station is located in the center of the city with a direct tram connection to the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of A. Mickiewicz University (tram lines 12 and 14). Using the same trams lines you can get student hostels Zbyszko i Jagienka. Hotel Mercure is located in walking distance from the railway station.

Poznań Airport Ławica is located not far from the center of the city. You can reach the center by taxi or by bus (line 159)

The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, where the conference will take place, can be reached by tram (lines 12,14,15 and 16).
